Pokémon GO 7 brings new missions to the crosshairs

Pokémon GO’s Trading Card Game Crossover is currently underway, with a new event search being conducted once again. We at MeinMMO have looked at these type of missions and whether the rewards are worth it.

What are the tasks? In Pokémon GO, the crossover event with the trading card game is currently underway. The reason for this is the collaboration between Pokémon GO and the game Pokémon Trading Card, where you can soon get special expansions for trading cards in the typical Pokémon GO layout.

Therefore, various deployments, brilliance and rewards are waiting for you in the mobile game in the next two weeks. Of course, event field research should not be missing. This is how Niantic revealed 7 new missions for you. We’ll show you what missions and rewards there will be.

When does the crossover event run? The crossover event started today June 16, 2022 at 10:00 local time and will continue until June 30, 2022 at 20:00 local time.

All new crossover event missions

During the crossover event, you will again find special quests in PokéStops that are thematically based on the event. To get it, you simply have to rotate the photo disk. You can then find the missions in the “Field” view, which you can access using the binoculars on your map.

As usual, event missions will be marked with the word “event” so you can distinguish them from your regular field research from June. You have unlimited time to solve it.

But what are the new missions of the crossover event? A total of 7 new missions are available to you, all of which will revolve around catching Pokémon, playing Pokéstops, trading or sending them.

With the help of LeekDuck overview, we have summarized all the tasks and rewards for you below:

What tasks are worth it? Spin 5 PokéStops or gyms:

The task of rotating 5 PokéStops and Arenas is especially worthwhile in this event. For this you will receive Rißlaus, which can be found for the first time in the game. Although it will also spread out into the wild and be found in raids, the additional quest can still be worthwhile, especially since it’s particularly fast and easy to solve.

Rice louse is a pokemon from the Alola region, which belongs to the insect and water species. You can upgrade it to Tectass with the help of 400 candy bars. For this reason alone, you should take the opportunity to collect as many copies and thus candy.

In addition, Tectass can score with a decent attack and defense value. She also has a really fast movement combination with Rage Blade and Cross Scissors, allowing her to rival the best attackers in Pokémon GO. However, it is not yet available as a glossy version.

More interesting Pokemon Pikachu with event hat:

If you are looking for a dazzling Pikachu with a Pokémon TCG cover, you can get more chances in the “Swap a Pokémon” quest.

This will only be available sporadically in the game, and it is currently unknown if and when you will have the opportunity to do it again. However, you can also encounter Pokemon in larger numbers during Spotlight Hour on June 28. Relaxo, Dragoran and LetterKing:

In addition, the Catch 40 Pokémon mission can help you solve 6 new challenges for the Crossover event collector. You will get to meet with Relaxo, Dragoran or Letarking.

If you still lack these quests for the task, you have the opportunity to complete them. However, any monster you meet remains a coincidence. Alternatively, with a little luck, you can take on Pokémon in the wild or compete against them in level 3 raids.

What do you think of the field research for the intersection event? Would you try to secure rice lice? Or are you more interested in one of the other Pokémon? Let us know in the comments here on MeinMMO.

June brings you another surprise in Pokémon GO. Level 4 raids return for Community Day in June with Kapuno. We’ll show you what limitations there will be.
