“Sport im Park” enters the next round and attracts visitors with a variety of shows

If you want to use the great summer weather as an incentive and you like to do sports in the fresh air, “Sport im Park” is the place for you. Offer valid from June to August.

The popular “Sport im Park” series will move to the next round in the Coesfeld region and Nordkirchen will be there again along with Billerbeck, Coesfeld, Dülmen, Havixbeck, Nottuln, Rosendahl and Send. From June 13 to August 6, 2022, all those interested in sports can once again participate in a wide range of sports – without registration and completely free of charge. This year, the Sport-im-Park tournaments will take place in the Capell Village Park.

There is something for everyone

“Sport im Park” is aimed at non-trainers and athletes of all ages. Everyone is welcome and can participate. The courses are organized by Kreissportbund Coesfeld and performed by qualified instructors. Training sessions last about an hour and take place in all weather conditions. Please bring leisure or sports clothing, drinks and a towel. There are no toilets, showers or changing facilities.

Great workout (FC Nordkirchen)

  • Monday, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (13/20/27 June, 4/25 July and 1 August)

It’s a quiet hour when Pilates meets yoga asanas and classic exercises that involve rolling, beginning with centering and ending with a relaxation exercise. Please bring a mat or blanket, sneakers are not mandatory, socks are welcome.

Gymnastics Fitness / Fleck Bar (SV Sudkirchen)

  • Tuesdays 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (June 14/21/28, July 5/12/19/26, and August 2)

After a short warm-up period, follow the movements while standing or on the mat. Small devices such as dumbbells, resistance bands and popular elastic bands are used.

Children’s fitness (Parent-child gymnastics – from 1 to 4 years, SV Südkirchen)

  • Wed 4-5 p.m. (July 13/20/27 and Aug. 3)

Provides movement, fun and fun motor skills exercises with music. Absolute requirement: Babies should already be able to walk!

Summer Biathlon (SSV Südkirchen)

  • Wednesday from 5:00 pm (July 13/6/2020)

Summer biathlon is a combination of running and shooting. Running requires strength and agility, and shooting requires focus and self-discipline. The SSV Südkirchen uses two light rifles, and the strikes are displayed electronically. Do not carry light guns while running.

Full Body Workout with Smovey (SC Capelle)

  • Wednesdays from 6 pm to 7 pm (June 22, July 13/6/27 and August 3)

Training with Smovi enhances metabolism, massages, relaxes the lymphatic system, tightens connective tissue, stimulates digestion, strengthens the cardiovascular system and strengthens the immune system. 20 pairs of smovey are available. If participants already have a Smoofie, they are welcome to bring them along with a bottle of water.

Zumba® (SC Capelle)

  • Thursday from 7 pm to 8 pm (16/23/30 and 7/14 July)

Zumba Fitness is a fitness program that combines elements of Latin American dance, loud music, and a stimulating team atmosphere.

Yoga (SC Capelle)

  • Thursdays from 6 pm to 7 pm (23/30 June and 7 July)

Yoga is one of the oldest systems in the world, uniting the body, mind, and spirit and promoting personal development. Stress and tension are reduced, keeping the body healthy and charged with energy.
