With “Obi-Wan Kenobi”, a new series of the “Star Wars” universe kicks off on Disney Plus* at the end of May. Of course, just the sensational “Star Wars” series is not enough for real fans. How good it is that Disney has now announced so many new productions. Including a new season of The Mandalorian. That’s all we know so far!
When is the third season of The Mandalorian?
Season 3 of the “Star Wars” series “The Mandalorian” will be released in February 2023 on Disney + * – so unfortunately you will have to be patient for a while. However, we already know that the Mandalorian will travel to his clan’s home planet Mandalor with his disciple Grogo. Once we know more, you’ll find out here!

The series “Andor”, which talks about the rebellious pilot of the same name from the movie “Rogue One”, was announced in 2020. Now there is finally a first trailer for this series:
The trailer hints at the beginnings of the rebellion against the Galactic Empire. Andor will run for 12 episodes and will take place five years before the events of Rogue One. Nothing is known about the length of episodes – in other “Star Wars” series it is 30-60 minutes. You can stream Andor on Disney Plus* starting August 31, 2022.
There will be a series for children Star Wars
There’s also another new announcement: The child-friendly series “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” is scheduled to premiere on Disney+* in 2023. The story is said to be about a group of kids in the Star Wars universe. Among other things, actor Jude Law will appear in it.
