She saved her pocket money, bought books about dogs, and even made one herself and gave a lengthy lecture to her parents about how good a dog was for the family. Her parents were allowed to be convinced, so Shira moved the golden bitch into their house. But with a dreaming night dog comes a lot of responsibility in her life.

In his spare time, he likes to make videos about his hometown that are published by the daily Spitsbergen. He knows after the storm that the chances of finding something special are better on the beach. Recently, he collected strange glass bottles on the beach and used them to build a house for ants. Dane lives with his family on Terschelling Island in the North Sea. Even his grandfather was the well-known Jetter, who was also very committed to protecting the seals that live here.

The series “Look at my world!” (rbb / KiKA / Radio Bremen / SWR / MDR / hr) is an invitation from children for children to learn about living environments that were previously unknown to them. Thinking outside the box gives new insights, enhances understanding, makes the world more tangible and brings them closer together. Various documentaries show children from all over the world telling a variety of stories, yet relating them during their childhood.

Anke Gerstel (MDR), Anke Sperl (rbb), Claudia Schwab (SWR), Thomas Miles (KiKA), and Tanja Nadig (hr) are responsible for the episodes presented.
