Second division football team Hamburg SV celebrated a happy 4:2 (1:0) win away to home in Regensburg on Saturday. Only in the last minute came the decisive blows.
HSV was the worst team for extended periods and seemed to shy away from their 2-1 lead in the closing stages. But then fate took a turn: Wagnoman and David Kinsombe in stoppage time still managed the all-important Triple Pointer. The Hanseatic League climbed to fourth in the table, at least for the time being, and held its slim chances of promotion.
“My team never gives up and that makes me very proud,” said HSV coach Tim Walter. But in the early stages, a hamburger team almost played against the wall. Although Bayern didn’t finish some attacks consistently, they got plenty of chances in the first 20 minutes.
This year Fernandez in continuous use
The first is less than a minute later by Niklas Shipnowski. A few seconds later it was Max Pesochko’s turn, twelve minutes later Benedict Saler. However, HSV goalkeeper Daniel Hoyer Fernandez was there every time and saved his team from being late. Yan was also unable to use his poor passes over the six-yard (22′) edge. “We survived that happily,” Walter admitted.
Moheim for a dream
Almost nothing happened together in HSV. The team looked unsure – but kept going: Miro Moheim managed to get away unimpeded from a distance of 20 meters and hit the ball into an untenable angle (23). The lucky goal calmed down the match, and it was clear that Regensburg had to nibble at the unfortunate inability.
Additional information
However, Hamburg have once again made life difficult for themselves with their risky passing game. Moritz Heyer served Shipnoski with a disastrous fiasco, which failed for Heuer Fernandes. However, Carlo Boukhalfa kept the general view and pushed the ball from the edge of the penalty area (46′).
Also Suhonen from a distance
HSV was challenged again and had two very good chances through Robert Glatzel (Position 45/56). Both teams now offered a lot of space in midfield, and she swung back and forth a bit at times. And again, Hamburg scored from a distance: Ansi Sohonen’s shot from 20 meters, Jan Jan goalkeeper Alexander Mayer could only get the ball with his fingertips and could not avoid it (66th place). Would a second advance be enough to win?
turbulent final stage
Then Regensburg seriously continued to take chances. But just before the end, the Hanseatic League’s luck seemed to run out: Jonas David made an entirely unnecessary foul and penalties were awarded. Andreas Albers (89) turns safely.
But that wasn’t the last point: Regensburg lost defensive vision completely, and Josha Wajnoman pushed the ball in to make it 3:2. David Kinsombie (90 + 6, penalty kick) went better.
